The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations like the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the load to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are normally guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
